I like Roy Lictenstien b/c of his use of color. Also how he takes real life images and turns them into a cartoon like image. I believe his works are really is really amazing because of his use of fine line. Also the way he uses pure black to complement the other brighter colors.

I love Lichtenstein too! Why was he using cartoon imagery? Why did he choose to put them into a formal art setting?
