AIR JORDAN UNIQUENESS

The shoes draw inspiration from the late Spanish painter and sculptor Joan MirĂ³ who died only months before Michael Jordan and Team USA won Gold in the ‘84 Games. They feature a white base with an array of colors which form what is best described as an artistic pattern. These shoes really shoe the type of things i am interested in. The loose use of colors and schemes. Also the background of the shoe makes it even better. You know that these aren't random or out the blue.

I know you may look at this and say oh its just a shoe, but to me its not. when you look at and Air Jordan shoe there is some unique design that no other shoe has. the abstract design really catches a persons eye. these aren't regular shoe designs. An artist just took his medium of art and put it on a shoe. Also the shape of the shoe show some architectural form of art which also makes the shoe unique.

Van Goh-1st Project

I chose this pice of art work because i love the contrast between the warm and cool colors. I also learn to mix and make colors that are not on the color wheel. Van Goh uses a lot of pant on the canvas and sculpt his paintings. The time it took for this pice to finish was unbearable but I stuck with it and finished.

Cartoons...Roy Lictenstien

I like Roy Lictenstien b/c of his use of color. Also how he takes real life images and turns them into a cartoon like image. I believe his works are really is really amazing because of his use of fine line. Also the way he uses pure black to complement the other brighter colors.
